I've never understood this logic, so please explain. If you can find a reasonably priced one in a holder, and you can tell that it hasn't been trimmed (if you don't trust the slobber), why not crack it out and be happy? If you don't trust your own eyes, or the slobbers, then you're in even worse danger buying raw these days.
