Default Today marks 55 years since the Sixth Game of the 1956 Series...

As Graig pointed out to me. It's been 55 years to the day that Don Larsen pitched perhaps the most famous game in the history of our National Pastime. The Mick gets an assist for turning a sure hit by Hodges into a spectacular running catch in the top of the 4th and capped it off with a Home Run in the bottom of the same inning! The following spring Larsen received his W.S. MVP Trophy together with Mantle garnering his first of three MVP awards.
