This is a really neat item. These pencil signatures were collected by the Cincinnati Reds team physician (using his prescription book!) in the mid 1940's. About half the players were Reds the other half visiting players, managers and even a couple period umpires!
The book measures approximately 51/2" x 4" and is in decent shape. A couple of the pages have become detached. There are twenty pages total, including the front and back covers. Highlights include: Billy Southworth HOF (2), Chuck Dressen (2), Mort Cooper d.58, Ed Heusser d.56, and several other obscure players. Complete list below...
