Interesting that the Wikipedia link for
him directly (and via the
Elliott Museum page) talks a lot about his inventions (... the ball bearing, the egg carton, the paper cup, rack and pinion steering and the women's bicycle) and business life, but never once mentions sports, outside interests, etc...
Seems from examples on
the museum site not all would not have been collected by Sterling himself, having passed in 1922.
All in all, sounds like it'll be a neat place to visit if you're in Stuart once the new museum opens.
