Incredibly detailed and artistic 1927 Baseball Trophy for sale. Depicts Lady Liberty haloding a scoll in her left hand and laurel leaves in her right. The word "TRIUMPH" is engraved on the base.

Set against Lady Liberty is a magnificant plaque featuring a period Batter. Very detailed... a work of art, unlike anything made today. Cast metal trophy is heavy and stands just short of 10" tall. Natural tarnish gives this piece a rich, spectacular patina and appearance.

Very hesitant to part with this, but just couldn't find the right space in the recently completed "Pre-War Room". Asking $165 + $11 shipping (which is exactly what I paid about a decade ago).
