caught a few balls...
I caught/attained two balls at different spring training games in Florida several years back.......one bounced off a fat guy's belly who was sitting across the aisle from me in Plant City when the Reds used to play there.
I also caught two BP balls on Waveland Ave. outside Wrigley on different occasions.....the first one I had to catch bare handed on the fly because I didn't have my glove and other 'ball hawks' were closing in fast.....and yes, the little grey speck that was coming towards me over the bleachers was in 'slooooow motion'......and yes, my palms were beat red for awhile afterwards, but the ball, the story and a couple beers made for a great day.
