as for the "shiny crap". I'm just back in the hobby. Got a list of guys I'll build a collection around. All retired except for one (Tony Gonzalez). Or at least I think Chris Chelios is retired now, i'm waiting for 11th party independent confirmation on that one
. But anyway, i'm purposefully staying away from all the game used, jersey, bat, and auto cards. Unless they are given to me.(thanks to the guy who gave me the jack clark ud triple auto/bat/jersey whatever that is, it's going in my display case lol). There's just a glut of those jersey, auto, and bat cards everywhere. Not my scene
