Default 1911-16 T216 (Mino) - "thin stock" myth

The T216 series is one of my favorite sets even though there is much information we still have to learn about it. That being said there was a recent auction where a T216 Mino Cigarette card was listed as having a gloss-less front and thin paper stock. I would like to know if anyone on the board has ever personally seen/held a thin stock Mino? Also, though I think a card without gloss could have just had the gloss coating process skipped, same question there. Anyone seen/held one without gloss? I asked the person who wrote the auction description where he got the info and he said the Krause SCD. I asked Bob L (hi Bob) about it and I believe he said something to the effect (correct me if I am wrong Bob) that he doesn't remember where the information came from but didn't I see the write up in said auction, sort of corroborating it? The proverbial cat could be chasing his tail here . Personally I have not seen any thin ones (always thought it a hobby myth but I have been wrong before) and haven't noticed non-glossy ones. With the information currently available I feel the "thin" type Mino should be taken out of the book until one is confirmed. I realize there are similar situations with several other cards and card sets but this thread is about T216. regards
