I like it for a few reasons. I really like the pencil drawings (I know, not appealing to all), it is relatively small in numbers, includes HOF'ers from the pre war days, and appears to be attainable.
I do not have access to SMR online prices or own and of the comprehensive books. Does anyone have a price list they could scan or attach??

Hi: These cards were among the most well remembered of my childhood. They were sold at the Bball HOF in the early 1950's, which is where I first saw them. I have a complete set in the original cardboard wrapper. My set does contain some of the supposedly scarce cards issued after about 1951 that are being offered at some crazy prices online. Beyond that, I know nada about pricelistings.
