Up for sale today is an extremely rare 1946 Parade Sportive - Jackie Robinson HOF Rookie which has been graded a BGS 4.5 by the strict graders at Beckett Grading Services, the industry leader in third-party grading. This is the true Rookie of Jackie Robinson, although it is not a "card" it is a 5 1/2" X 9" premium in extremely clean condition, both front and back are nearly perfect. The 4.5 numerical grade assigned by Beckett was based on thier BGS criteria and not their BVG criteria, which my guess would have come out around a 7. There are no creases, tears or any other issues with this piece, only a couple of very minor surface wrinkles and corners that are not quite as sharp as a pin but show very minimal wear for the size of this piece.
