I have upgraded the Mantle for my set. This card was purchased from a very reliable dealer (member of net54) about 4-5 years ago to put into my EX-EM 1952 set without busting my budget. The card unfortunately has a colored in lighter teal background probably done 50 years or more ago from the original owner. It looks to be pastel. The image of Mantle is unharmed and this is very nice example for the price considering beat to heck 1s will command $3K. This card is full uncreased and untrimmed. The only issue is the recoloring. This could make a very nice restoration project potentially considering this card is pretty much 50/50 dead centered which is another reason that I was attracted to it. The back is clean and bold. Try to find another example that looks this good for this price. The card was sent to PSA and rejected about 5 years ago because of the coloring. I do not know where any service would stand on holding it authentic. I do however, guarantee the card to be 100% authentic. First to confirm $3500 has it delivered. Pay Pal is fine to
