My 2 cents,
I would buy a very, very large toploader, for maybe $20-$25?, and put the whole thing in it. That's just me though. I don't think I have ever cut anything up (yet). I might someday but have never had the nerve to so far. I doubt the sum of the cut out players would be worth more than the whole thing together, at least they wouldn't to me. I could see someone valuing the "cards" more though, given what I have seen with graded strip cards (ugh)....
