Just a note regarding Hake's: I sent an e-mail Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. requesting a scan of the back of a postcard in the upcoming auction. Received a response with a scan at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.
I'd say some other auction houses could take a lesson from the customer-service folks at Hake's.
