Interesting read, there John. I was not aware he played in the Mill League for a short stint. A Pitcher ? Shoeless off the wooden slab ?? Joe still continues to amaze me. At some point, possibly after the first steroid era guy gets in the HOF, we have to go ahead and put Joe and Pete in as I still contend it is about their accomplishments on the field.
