My first T206 were a pair of HOFers -- Mathewson White Cap and Bender Portrait. I bought them from a guy in 1997 who was looking for extra money for a Vegas trip. They were part of his grandfather's collection. I am sure I made out better than him all these years later. I am quite happy to say that I still have them.

Thanks a lot for your input. Those cards are beautiful. I like hearing the stories of how people found their favorite cards. And by the way, I found your website before I this forum. I went through a lot of the content and enjoyed it quite a bit.
