I own 20 or so original photos from the files of the White Construction Co. documenting the contruction of Yankee Stadium.
Alot of fun to pore over these with an eyeglass - seeing the workers hammering in the bleacher seats, carrying paint, sweeping, etc.
Too many of the later ones are not scanned in - they are beauties - including one panoramic shot of the completed park.
What are remarkable feat of human engineering - all done in 10 months!
