T206 Collection Book
I have been slowly reading through The T206 Collection book/The Players & their Stories for the last month and have found it pretty good reading. Actually I really like the the book and it has pushed me to "forge" on with my T206 collection.
I found one "so called fact" that lost me a bet. Page 93 mentions that Lee Tannehill is the only shortstop in major league history to convert 2 unassisted triple plays in the same game (Aug. 4, 1911). That was a fact that I never heard of before. After betting one of my trivia buff friends that two unassisted triple plays happened in one game, I was proved wrong. As it turns out Tannehill turned two unassisted DOUBLE plays in that game.
Other than a little misinformation, is anyone else finding the book a good read?
