Actually, Speaker was more than just a Rodeo fan. I thought I had read something about that in the past, and just found this as well:
Speaker was also a rodeo performer of some distinction, coming home to Texas to compete in the Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo in several different winters of his playing career.
