As to your first question, the answer is "many." No one has any idea how many, and any guess would be so unverifiable as to be pure nonsense.
Suffice it to say that the "supply" is quite large.
But the demand is larger.
A decent single-signed ball would run at least $5k. And since a multi-signed ball would, in all probability, be a vintage Yankee team ball (with a Gehrig signature), it, too, would run about $5k in decent shape.
