I just read the entire old thread that Jim posted a link to,and was glad to see that some people were suggesting Las Vegas.
Yes,I would LOVE IT to come to Vegas,because I live here.
But there are all kinds of reasons to have it here-we actually have 2 convention centers .We also have everything else a traveler could want-great luxury hotel rooms at fair prices,huge buffets (for all of you eaters
),entertainment,music,clubs,sports books,easy transportation,and yes,even gambling.
I do plan on making it to a National,even if it never comes to Vegas,but I sure would love it to come here.It would be nice to meet some of you folks for dinner also.
We also have some of the finest Steakhouses .We have it all here,when it comes to entertainment-and PLENTY of convention center space.
It seemed like it was being considered,but that was it............
I'm sure our Mayor would love to see it come to town (and so would I ).
