Default Arthur Fletcher Handwritten Letters 1927 Yankees JSA LOA

For sale at $60 each, postpaid (or take them both for $110), 1927 Yankee coach and T206 card (with Giants) Arthur Fletcher (d. 1950) handwritten vintage letters from 1943 and 1944. They originated from the Pat Olson Estate (collector and ex-roomate of Lou Gehrig), are both in great shape (stapled) and will come with copy of blanket LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Letter #1: May 21, 1943 on Hotel Cleveland, OH stationary (5x9) and is two pages, with hand writing on both sides of the first and three quarters of the second. It is signed "Art". The content includes: canned peaches which were shipped (Olson and Fletcher traded fruit), many rain outs therefore the Yankees have had a brutal stand, the attendance, Earle Combs is ill and two of the Yankees are injured (Russo and ?), mention of Crosetti's coming back after suspension.

Letter #2: Sept. 15, 1944 on Concourse Hotel, NYC stationary (5x9( and is on two pages, with handwriting on both sides of the first and almost entirely on the second. It is signed "Arthur". The content includes: peaches, the nice weather, Earle Combs says that if the Yankees aren't in the World Series, he won't watch.
