Classic Seinfeld scene relative to baseball is when George Costanza (who is working for the Yankees) dissapears and Steinbrenner goes to his parents house to let them know their son has died. Instead of a father mourning his son, he reacts with anger about how the Yankees have traded away young stars such as Jay Buhner for over the hill vets.
"My baseball people kept telling me Ken Phelps, Ken Phelps..."
