My understanding of the 150--350--460 series is that these numbers represented a "ballpark" number of cummulative Subjects.

That is......

1st Series.....150 Subjects......actually 156 cards

2nd Series.....350 Subjects......actually 208 cards.....(totals approx. 350)

3rd Series......460 Subjects......actually 109 cards.....(totals approx. 460)
