Craziness
This is one of the most ridiculous auctions I have seen. One bidder (v**a) made 72 of the 89 bids, and was still the second underbidder. Are collectors of Jewish athletes nuts? Or was there some serious shilling taking place? That one bidder was bidding every ten seconds.
I am only two cards away from a complete 1928 set, but oy vey I guess I will never complete it, because Mr. Cohen and his cronies just ain't going to let me.
