Vintage Philadelphia A's autographs
Hi Chris,
I looked over your list to see if there were any that I can help you with. Just out of curiousity, why do you not want to buy 3 x 5's for any of these names? FYI- I collect no-hitter signatures (all players) and several of the names on your list are readily available on a 3 x 5. From personal experience I can tell you that one of the toughees on your list is Don Black. He died at the early age 42 of cerebral hemmorage. He passed away in 1959 making his signature a difficult one to find on any medium. If I ever find a 3 x 5 index card or GPC for him I would be willing to sell you my signed cut from very early in his career (fountain pen signature). If you would like some good suggestions for who to contact regarding some of these sigs, my recommendations would include: Phil Marks in NJ, Simon Gutis in LA and Bill Corcoran in FL. Contact me offline if you want to chat or need more details.
I hope this helps!
