Default LOL - AFTRA Thanks you, and SAG Thanks you .....

Leon, the above unions wish to express their Thanks.

The transformation is almost complete.

Not only is this forum becoming pre war ... pre Viet Nam War, but all it needs is a hint of a TV show, and and any vintage baseball topic will become a TV topic.
Why even a topic about black baseball during the 1880's could become a topic about say ..... SNL.

Leon, may I make a suggestion.
As a member of the Ameican Federation of Television and Radio Artist, and Screen Actors Guild, I've noticed a pretty strong representation of deeply devoted aficionados on this forum that follow the scripts of their favorite show better than any religious fanatic will follow the Bible.
During my years of working night time series, and Soap Operas in NYC, we would refer to them as, "The Great Unwashed."
They don't mean to hijack a baseball thread, it's a knee jerk reaction with them, but once they do, it's goodbye Abner Doublday.

Anyway, let me get to the point.
They're crying for a home of their own, a shelter, a warm place to talk about Seinfeldt, the Simpsons ... SNL.
Build them their Shangri-La, and they will come.
They can visit pre WW1 vintage baseball anytime they wish ... it's like having dual citizenship.

Just a thought.
