My bad.

I mainly use the bottom etc. cropped info for the Gehrigs in the set. The most common reprints doctored.

I should have worded it better. Obviously from your scans the bottom varies alot with different cards. I guess you should compare each players card separately as the design varries a bit.

It is one of the few things I look at, but not the only spot. Thanks for pointing this out, now I know it is not 100% a fact that proves a reprint from the R320 set.

The R319 reprints are easier



In general, most reprints will have some or all of the edges of the photo cropped. Use google images to compare

Example

On this type of reprint (#61 below) the top edge of photo is the easiest to see (hat button cropped)
