Milwaukee is well represented in the Old Judge set due to their presence in the Western Association (full coverage of the 1888 and 1889 teams).
In 1888, the team called themselves the Milwaukee Brewers with eleven players, thirty-four poses catalogued. In 1889, the team changed their name to the Creams with many new faces but again finished mid-pack. The 1889 totals reside at fifteen players accounting for fifty-four total poses.
Some of the players who can only be found on 1888 cards are among the toughest players in the set (Cusick, Davin, etc.). The 1889 examples are more common.
