You say "centenarian"......and, I said "centurion". I deliberately chose that word because I was 99% sure that you would chime in.

As you know both words are derived from the Latin "centaria"....meaning 100. A centurion commanded a 100 soldiers in the Roman
era.
And, anyone who lives to 100+ has taken command of his years .
