That blonde-headed fellow would go on to be one of the most famous boxing announcers in the history of the sport...he is now in the Boxing Hall of Fame. His name is Dan Tobey and he hails from Ulysses, Nebraska. If you've seen any boxing movie pre-1950 chances are he was in it as the ring announcer.
