I've written a few:
"Those Who Served: Baseball and the Military Through WW1." Old Cardboard Issue #2, Winter 2005, Pg. 29.
"The Third Major League." SGC Collector Magazine, Vol. 1, Issue 1, Summer 2005, Pg. 9.
"1973 Topps Photography: A Closer Look." SGC Collector Magazine, Vol. 1, Issue 2, Fall 2005, Pg. 16.
"Ballplayers on the Tube: The Story of the 1955 Bowman Baseball Set." Sports Market Report (SMR), May 2007, pg. 140.
(edited to add: only two of these were within the scope of Net54's main focus, and looking at them, neither was really about cards at all. One focused on players who served in the military and the other talked about the Federal League.)
Speaking with Lyman Hardeman after the Net54 Dinner last week, he told me that he still gets requests for that issue (and I've seen questions come through about it on SABR's military forum from time to time). We've discussed doing other articles but they've never come to fruition -- which was mostly my own fault, not trying to cast a bad shadow on Lyman at all.
The '73 Topps article was a lot of fun; I basically pulled out my binder, flipped through the cards and the piece virtually wrote itself.
