I think the BST auctions are going to be a good thing going forward. With eBay getting stupider and less wonderful by the day, thanks to silly rules and ratings and whatever they are smoking at HQ, the timing on this is good.
Leon, just as a guide, how many members does the forum have? This should give some idea of the potential universe of bidders. Did you mention about 1,100 a couple of weeks ago?
