I own that piece and it has the name on the front which is hard to see from the scan but clear in person. The player is Carroll Ray "Dink" Mothel and he pictured circa 1920 in his Kansas City Monarchs uniform and gear. He was a very accomplished Negro League player. It is for sale on my website as well.
