If UPS or FedEx had even close to the same volume as the USPS they would no doubt have the same types of problems...which don't seem that bad to me. I've not noticed any of my packages taking any longer than they ever had...and I've since taken Dan McKee's advice in sending packages first class instead of priority...takes the exact same amount of time.
