Default A most unique T206 card has surfaced....perhaps the 525th ?

That's interesting that the 1952T Semi-Hi#s & Hi#s were not distributed to the Buffalo (NY) area.
Yet, you got both the Black and Red backs in the 1st series....very interesting.

In Hillside (NJ) we only got the Black backs in the 1st series and we got all the other 1952T series.

I too...."reclaimed my treasures from the attic" of the home I grew up in.

Fred......we were both fortunate that are cards were stored in the attics of our homes. Our attic
got extremely hot in the summer and very cold in the winter, but it was a dry environment. All my
cards (from 1947-1952) were in an open box for 20 years in this attic. Cardboard can't withstand
any kind of damp or humid conditions such as found in basements.

When BB cards were beginning to gain popularity in the late 1970's, I told my wife that I remember
having 2-4 1952T Mantles. But, when I recovered all my cards, I found only one.....along with 4
other Hi#s. As I looked at my Mantle, Chapman, Herman, Jeffcoat & Spencer....it all "flashed back"
at me. The very last 1952T pack I opened in the Fall of '52 included a Mantle.

And, that my friend was the end of my BB card collecting....until 25 years later.

Thanks for reviving my youth.
