And don't forget, if the seller is so sure of those grades then you have to ask yourself, "Wouldn't it be in his/her best interest to get those cards graded in the first place, to maximize their own profit, not your own?" Your pattern seems to look for highly-sought-after great-condition cards, usually ungraded, and therefore should sell for much more once you have them. Although we all have an eye out for that, the fact is that among the collected experience of this forum you will find few stories like that. Sure we'd all like a windfall, but what we all really seek are the particular cards we want at a fair price to both parties.
