Back in the late 70's, my brothers and I would go to the Armenian Church shows in NYC. Seth Popeil had a fantastic display of vintage unopened material. We used to buy 1971 racks with stars on top for about $15.00.
A few years earlier, we would buy 1965 Topps High number packs from Lou Mitschich (sp?), a long time dealer. I remember him and his wife, their old suitcases they would bring their stock in, and Lou's chain smoking. We pulled many Berra, Banks, Carlton, and other cards from his packs that cost about $2.50 each.
