paul,54 bowman and 58 topps are the least popular of the 50's sets/design(always have been) and both are among my favorites. in our post favorite set of the 50's i don't think either of these are even mentioned. the 58 topps set is, to me anyway,very much the same design as the 33 goudey and i'm the only one to see it. as far as condition i think you can find nice ex 54's because of their unpopularity. where as nice 53 bowmans are costly.
