Andy BaranI just picked up this 1862 CDV of John Heenan from the Frederick's Studio "Socialite" Series. This commercially available set of personalities contains 2 different images of Heenan. These CDV's are considered by many to be the first boxing cards. This card pre-dates the Peck & Snyder Red Stocking card by 7 years!
As much as I really like the card, it is not really part of my focus. I would consider trading it for equally rare cards of Sullivan, Corbett, Fitzsimmons, and/or Jeffries. The card is not available for sale at this time. Please let me know what you might have available for a trade. I will also purchase cards, so let me know if you are looking to sell rather than trade.
