8x10 photograph of baseball team from an all black school (Excelsior). One of the players is holding a trophy. Dated 1943. Some real interesting details- I catch a little more every time I look at it.
silver gelatin print of 4 ball players in uniform in front of a tent- postcard size. looks 19th century
postcard from yankees spring training- postally used 1947. looks like gehrig on the front in subset picture
letter from the national association of baseball leagues to a player declaring him inelegible- comes with original envelope
two 5x7 photographs of the above player, along with a couple newspaper clippings, some negatives, and 2 index cards where this minor league player recalls some of his favorite moments as a player (playing in a game against buzz aldrin, etc.)
