I do have some cards, issued in the Baltimore area only, of Ripken during the streak. Set of nine I think...Some are in unopened packs still. Accompanying them is an article from Beckett BCM featuring the cards. My sister lived in the area at the time and got them for me. I imagine that there aren't too many around, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, if you are at all interested, let me know and I can pull them out of storage and give you more information on them...don't remember all the details as I haven't laid eyes on them in years.
I also have an official MLB Baseball, in box, that is sealed with a Ripken #9 sticker. In addition, a few ticket stubs from around the time he broke the record (don't think I have them from "the" game, though). Also, a few items from the All Star game that was held in Baltimore back then. Again, everything came from my sister.
