Up for sale tonight is a VERY SCARCE 1953 Marshall Merrell Braves - Hank Aaron ROOKIE CARD. This card issue pre-dates Aaron's widely accepted 1954 Topps Rookie Card by one year and represents the earliest possible issue of the "All-Time Home Run King". This beauty is in VG-EX condition with minor corner wear, a perfectly clean front and blank back except for "Henry Aaron" written in pencil on the top-back of the card. This issue was produced for the Milwaukee Braves in 1953 and includes all team members from that season. When have you seen another one of these? When will you see another one again?
