T206Collector...if you bid on an ebay auction any time prior to 20 seconds before the auction ends, you are only (a) hurting yourself by giving bidders an opportunity to bid against you; and (b) driving up the price for the seller.
Not only do many people use sniping services, but it is the best way to keep the costs of auctions down -- which is, of course, most important when you win.
