OK, My First Tough Choice!



Somethings gotta give to stay on course with my T206 quest so I will offer these here first for a few days before I give the masses a shot at them on the Bay.

All of these cards display outstanding eye appeal despite their obvious flaws.

T3 Turkey Reds


Bergen Brooklyn $150 SOLD

Very clean front; No creases; Corners rounded or chipped off; Back very clean and nice.

Bescher Cinn. $85 SOLD

Clean Image; No creases; Upper Left corner missing; Back reasonably clean; Back has small 1/2" spot of paper loss along upper rear edge.

Chase NY Amer. $175 SOLD!

Image nice; No creases; Lower left corner missing; Tack hole upper center; Tiny left border stain; Slightly aged back but clean.

Dooin Phil. Natl. $85 SOLD!

Clean Image; No creases; Small ink mark on bottom edge; Erasure in front upper border; Sizable early 1900's stamp mark on back "New York" with date; original ownwr name?; otherwise back pretty clean.

Graham Boston Natl. $85 SOLD!

Clean image; no creases; Old staple holes/marks in corners; Clean Back.

Krause Phil. Amer. $95 SOLD!

Clean front image; No creases; Tack hole center top; Back clean with a few smudges.

Niles Bost. Amer. & Cleve. $80 SOLD!

Crisp clean image; no creases; Some slight border discoloration; Torn lower left corner; piece reattached on back (very old tape); Some mild staing on 25% of upper right back otherwise decent.

Schmidt Detroit $80 SOLD

Image strong; nice color and clean; Heavy crease middle front (quite fragile);

2 other light creases on front. Back nice and clean; Tiny 1/2" spot of paper loss near bottom back.

I don't currently have the backs scanned but have tried to provide the best accurate description.

It's a great low grade starter set. I tried to acquire them all with eye appeal in mind and as a priority.

I'd much prefer at this point if some of you N54'ers become the new owners.
