Frank, the piece is 100% authentic.

The misconception here is that these pennants are in any way associated with the BF2's. These are associated with the 1916 D381 Ferguson cards. As evidenced in this blotter that you rarely see for sale. It states that one could get the "pillow-top" for a certain # of the cards' coupons (a la Zeenut cards) which is why you usually see the D381's without coupons.

The movie actor version of the pillow-top is more common than the baseball players.
