barrysloateMatt- it depends. If ten guys each need three cards, then I agree with you. But if bidder A and bidder B were each thinking of aggressively going after the set, and then agreed not to and instead partner up and split the cards, then it might go for less. Of course, there is no way to know what a lot could have gone for, it's too abstract. To repeat, I would leave out any discussion on a public chatboard regarding the possibility that the lot might go for less if you knock out some of the competition.
