Some of the new features I'm looking forward to:

*See all posts by user - can view all of Ted Z's valuable forum contributions in one place
*Private messaging - will eliminate issues with emails going to spam folders, etc.
*Ability to ignore posts from particular users. Hopefully people who get annoyed with each other will choose this option instead of feeling the need to respond to attack other's posts. That should make the forum a happier place for all of us.
