Default personal collecting questions

Posted By: Dan McHugh IV

1. What is your focus today, in collecting?
My main focus right now would be obtaining HOF Rookies Auto'd, especially of deceased players. My 1st goal was collecting HOF Rookies but I had to sell those to pay for these Auto RC's

2. What are the 3 cards you need most?
Ty Cobb Auto on a card from his playing days preferbly a 1907 AC Dietsche or Wolverine News(if it exists) or not auto'd
1925 Exhibit Lou Gehrig
Any pre-1948 HOF Rookie signed

3. Do you like to trade, buy, or a combination when you do acquire your needs?
I would prefer to trade but almost always end up buying

4. Has the economy forced you to sell things you wouldn't have otherwise?
Yes, unfortunately. My HOF rookie collection has dwindle down to only a few cards now.

5. What is your absolute favorite series, why?
I love the e98's and once I'm in a good spot financially I would love to start up collecting the set.

6. How do you enjoy acquiring your cards most- Ebay, auction, BST, shows etc...?
eBay has the widest range for my collection, but I also really like making purchases via BST and rarely I find things at shows but when I do they're cheap and relatively hard to find

7. What do you do for a living, how old are you and where do you live?
right now I fortunately have a stable job at Yale University Library working as a library assistant. Its a really easy/boring job but for $18/hr its ok money and I have the best benefits in the state. I am 27 and live in Hamden, Ct.
