At about 1AM EST it seemed that the auction clock couldn't count down past about 14 min before another bid would come in and re-set it to 15 min again. Apparently there was still quite a lot of bidding activity going on at that time. I finally gave up and went to bed. Fortunately the bids I had placed on the items I was winning never got raised so I wasn't disappointed.
