AlYou may want to contact the Postmaster who handles your mail and tell him/her what happened. They have "ways" of monitoring the mail as it is sorted...ever notice those high slits in the walls??? that's where postal inspectors actually prowl the walls to observe.
I hope you can nail the person responsible. I am assuming you have no concerns about the seller or his shipment methods, thus it must be a postal job.
